Warden Message

The U.S. Embassy is issuing this warden message to alert American citizens that the government of Chad has imposed a curfew in N'Djamena, and six central and eastern provinces. The curfew is in effect from 6:30PM each evening until 6:00 AM the following morning. American citizens are advised to remain indoors during curfew hours. Please monitor local news media for possible changes to the curfew.
The U.S. Embassy has relocated operations and personnel to the N'Djamena airport and can be reached at 237-94-952-860. American citizens in Chad may also contact U.S. Embassy Yaounde at 237-2220-1500 for assistance. To report the whereabouts of an American citizen in Chad, please call the preceding numbers or the Department of State at 1-888-407-4747 toll free in the United States and Canada, or 1-202-501-4444 from overseas.
