Welcome to the U.S. Embassy N'Djamena's business portal. Our Embassy is committed to increasing trade between Chad and the United States, and we stand ready to assist Chadian and U.S. businesses by improving up-to-date information and access to commercial services. Our interest is to promote increased commercial ties between the United States and Chad for the benefit of both of our countries.

Chad's current political stability combined with recent strong economic growth rates have created new opportunities for businesses. The Government of Chad (GOC) officially encourages foreign direct investment (FDI) and there are few formal restrictions on foreign trade and investment. American companies, once represented by only a handful of businesses, are now beginning to not just to knock on Chad's door but to enter and set up operations here.
